Distance Reiki offers the same benefits as in-person sessions, without physical presence. By creating a connection of Oneness with your animal, Reiki can be shared in that connected space. F.A.Q.
Here are some common questions people have about Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese practice for reducing stress and increasing relaxation that also promotes healing in the body, mind, and spirit. It is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel anxious or stressed, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy, more grounded.
Some common benefits are:
- Reduces anxiety
- Reduces aches and pains
- Addresses skin and coat issues
- May help with restlessness
- Could potentially strengthen the connection between owner and pet
- Calms scared and fearful animals
- Improves immune system health
It depends. It depends on the severity of the problem and the first session typically takes a little longer as the practitioner and owner will discuss what’s going on and then a session is included. If it’s a subsequent session, there is less talk and we get right down to business. It can be anywhere from 15 minutes or up to an hour if the pet is willing.
Yes, 100%! In fact, not only is it safe, it’s highly beneficial!
Reiki can be done in person or remotely and is just as effective either way.
